Black & White Affair 2011

This is the 3rd year I've helped out with the Black & White Affair charity fashion show benefiting an organization called Women Grooming Excellence. One of my super close friends Ashlee is the mastermind behind the event and I gotta say, it gets better every year girl! This year, I helped out with the photography for the advertising as well as the event. This is by far the most fun shoot I have EVER done! Awesome colorful ensembles, super fun cooperative models, and an awesome bright graffiti wall location! There were no rules and we made do with whatever props were left behind by the artists. I just love the way they all turned out! What an awesome experience! Keep doing your thing Ash, you rocked the show this year! Can't wait to see what next year holds!

Jayce is 6 months old!

It's crazy to me that I just shot Jayce's 9 month session and I haven't even blogged his 6 month session yet! Oooooh why are all these kiddos growing so quickly!??!? It's so bittersweet watching them grow up. I mean, in one way, you get to experience all these fabulous new things and fun little stages and milestones. But on the other hand, it's just downright heartbreaking how quickly the time passes. It hits awful close to home. I can't believe my baby girl will be 7 in a couple of weeks! Cherish every moment with your little pumpkins because they won't always be so little!

Anyway, enough self reflection! lol Here's Jayce with a glimpse of Mommy & Daddy too! I think he gets cuter every time I see him Lyna!

Mommy & ME!

Rachel & Maddie are some super cute gals. Don't you just wanna squeeze Maddie's cheeks!?!??! I love love love our generation of moms! Not to pat myself on the back or anything but we ROCK! I just love watching the connection we have with our daughters. Mommy+me=BFF's! ;)

Paden was seriously like the cutest Bob the tomato EVER for his one year cake smash session. I was actually pretty nervous when Sarah busted out with the bright red cake but I can't imagine it any other way now. What a blast we had! Paden sure did love that cake! We did a few traditional shots too and as cute as they are, I could sift through the cake smash pictures over and over again and laugh each time remembering it all! Goodness, hard to believe we took these almost 4 months ago!!! Time flies! Thanks again guys! Just LOVE him!

Bella

Little stinker wasn't too enthused when we met the first time so we decided to try again the next day. I wish I had known the secret to success was Gigi's cupcakes! lol Sweet pea Bella had a jolly good time digging into her cupcake. She's such a doll!

Philips fam

Ava is one of my favorite lil' darlings! I got to meet her mommy for the first time for their cute lil' family session. Ava was being pretty stingy with her smiles this time around but I loved watching her curious little facial expressions as she hunted for bugs in her fluffy dress and ran away from us looking for adventure.Such a curious little age, I'm loving that I get to watch her grow! Thanks for sharing her with me again! :)

The Roark's

What a good lookin' fun lovin' family! I had such a blast with the Roark family! The kiddos are so well behaved, intelligent, and amusing! We did a lil' location hopping and had a super fun session. Thank you guys for being such amazing clients! See ya again real soon!
